To help with our money counting skills, the children designed their own shops. Afterwards, we took it in turns to visit each others shops, buying items and using coins to pay with the correct amounts.
We have had a very busy couple of weeks in P2! Our nativity has kept us very busy with lots of rehearsals. The children performed really well and I was SO proud of them all! We also had our Christmas party last week with a very special visitor... SANTA! The children had a wonderful time. Our P 6/7 buddies have been very busy this month as they created special story books for us to read and take home. The children loved them!
Our fairy tale this week during topic time has been 'The Three Little Pigs'. Just like in the story, the children tried to make houses of straw, sticks and bricks! We decided unanimously that the brick houses were the strongest, although it was lots of fun using our imagination to create our designs!
Great to see the children learning outdoors. James talking about the metre stick and measuring things at home :)
