Glasgow Science Centre

We had a wonderful trip to the Science Centre last week. The boys and girls explored all 3 levels and  also got to attend a workshop on our 5 Senses! A big thank you to our parent helpers who came along for the day to help us out.

 Our fairy tale this week during topic time has been 'The Three Little Pigs'. Just like in the story, the children tried to make houses of straw, sticks and bricks! We decided unanimously that the brick houses were the strongest, although it was lots of fun using our imagination to create our designs!

Following on from our castles topic last term, we will now be focusing on  Fairy tales as our new literacy topic. This week, we read Jack and the Beanstalk which really captured the children's imagination! We planted our own magic beans and we are eagerly waiting to watch them grow into beanstalks!
