Cosmic yoga
The hall was in use this week during our gym slot so we gave Cosmic Yoga a try! The children really enjoyed following the story whilst developing their strength and coordination at the same time.
Measurement
During Big Maths this week, the children have been learning to measure surface area. We used counters and gem stones to measure the area of a variety of shapes. We found that the cat shape had the largest surface area with it requiring 179 gem stones!
