Primary 2 - Miss Black

Here are a selection of photos from forest schools across the term. As you can see, there has been lots of learning and exploration going on outside with Miss Guthrie and Mrs Dew!

We have been thinking and learning about Rainbows this week during topic time. We conducted an experiment with a plate of skittles to examine what happened to the colours when we added warm water. We were very excited by the results! After reading  The Rainbow Fish,  we discussed what important qualities were needed to be a good friend. Afterwards we designed our own rainbow fish.

We are all SO proud of Alan who received an Above and Beyond Certificate from Miss Guthrie for being very responsible and a super help to her outside in the forest. Well done!

The  triangles maths group have been focusing on number formation, ordering and counting this week. What a hard working bunch!
